Cocaine Dipstrip Drug Urine Test is an easy, simple, and fast step known as immunochromatographic test, to detect the COC and other primary benzoylegonine substances enclosed in the human urine. Cocaine is consumed by smoking or through oral consumption. These harmful drugs are passed in the human urinary system as benzoylegonine in a very short period. It has a longer organic lifetime of nearly 5 to 8 hrs than cocaine, which is just about 0.5 to 1.5 hrs. Normally, these drug test results are detected from 24-80 hrs after consuming cocaine. The Drug test for Cocaine is found on a specific immunochemical reaction principle. It shows the reactions between the antibodies and antigens, used for checking some specific substances in the organic fluids. The significance of the drug test is visible, when it is found with 300 ng/ml of Cocaine.
Directions of Use:
1. Take out the drug test strip provided in the foil pouch.
2. Hold the strip in the vertical position, and carefully immerse it into the sample. Avoid dipping the strip below the maximum line.
3. Check the results within 3-5 mins.
Test Analysis:
As soon as the kit starts working, a colored band is visible in the window, which shows the result seen in the left section of the kit, indicating the proper working of the kit. This band is called a Control Band. An additional color band is visible in the window, which shows the results found in the left section of the kit and is called a Test Band. The results can be positive, negative or invalid.
Positive: Visible, Single Color Band
The visibility of one color band in the results window, suggest a positive outcome of the test. It means the sample consists of Cocaine density that is above the cutoff level.
Negative: Visible, Double Color Band
The visibility of Double color band in the results window, suggest a negative outcome of the test. It means no Cocaine density is above the cutoff level. The color band may be more light-colored or very dark in comparison with Control Band.
Invalid: The test results is considered to be invalid, if no different colored band forms are visible to the left section of the window.
Note: A faint band will appear within 5 mins in the right section of the windows results, indicating the quantity of Cocaine in the specimen is below or near the cutoff level. It is suggested to retest, or make sure using some alternative methods, for example, Gas mass chromatography spectrometry, previous to a positive conclusion being made. |
